How do I thing again? ohwell

Heyo, this account mostly died for 2 reasons:

1. I had a terrible situation come up around 2-3 years ago now where someone who I met through DA and hung out at my place, turned out to be a terrible person, stalked me, impersonated me, threw out racist/fatphobic comments at me basically made me being on DA a living hell. So I killed the account, and made a secret operation on tumblr to continue my appreciation of the dead without stress. You can read moire about that here blackbackedjackal.tumblr.com/p… but the person has since moved on and whoo, I can be back on this account without anxiety 8D

2. tumblr Vulture Culture completely overtook my life. I love it, I love the community, I love blogging about my VC adventures, so I made that my main operation and just didn't feel like integrating back on here until I was sure my drama was over.

So now I'm back finally, to my original account, and will be posting dead things as per my norm. I have years worth of posts backed up, and will try to organize them here as an archive c:

Call me Jackal or Jay. I'm a practicing pagan and lover of all thing natural and odd. This account is for documenting my taxidermy collection. If you have any questions, feel free to ask~!

I may slip away from time to time since this is no longer my 'main account.' So if I happen to go dark on here, hit me up on tumblr <3

It's both a love and interest in nature as well as a spiritual connection. I like to collect animal parts simply because I find them interesting, they're tiny pieces of natural history, documenting an animals life. Those little parts and pieces can tell so much about an individual animal and it's species, even species it has no relation to. Color mutations and how they happen, comparative anatomy, texture, art, all of it relates to the art of taxidermy and the Vulture Culture, and i love educating myself about the culture. I find it simply fascinating, and it gives me a way to work with animals I never dreamed possible, since I never had the grades to be a vet like I wanted to.

I'm also a Kemetic-Pagan, I work under the Netjer (Egyptian gods) for my spiritual practices. The main god I work under is Anpu (Anubis) god of mummification and preservation of the dead. I guess you could also consider these animals offerings to him c:! Hope this explains it a bit more~!!

Yes, thanks it's very interesting. i'am not into "kill animals" things, and i think it's bad when you don't kill them to eat and just for their pelt but your point of view is realy fine.

Do youthink you've got a "strange" relationship with death concept ? i'm curious about the religious view in that. I'am a mystic person too and i woul'd enjoy to talk about your point of view in that (sory if i do some mistake in writing, i'am french and not very good at it) ?
