I wanted to upload this yesterday, but for some reason DA was acting up on my computer and I couldn't check my messages/submit stuff @_@
Anyway, here's a picture of my two wolves, Jynx and Mocha. For some odd reason, Mocha looked much more blue than usual.
I love having these two girls for species comparisons. They really show some of the cool differences wolves can have. Jynx is from around Idaho/Montana area and is a normal Gray Wolf (possibly the Northern Rocky Mountains subspecies, but I'm not 100% sure). Mocha is a distinct subspecies known as a Yukon, an Alaskan-Canadian area species found in the Yukon Mountain range. They're also known as blue wolves because of the blue tints in their fur. They have very thick, long claws and furry paws. They have smaller ears than the normal grays and are one of the largest subspecies of the Gray Wolf along with the Arctic subspecies.
Other Yukons:

Omg, yes! I lovelovelove her coloration! Normally her fur looks darker, but I took this pic at a different time of the day then my normal picture time and the blue hues really started to show.
