How do I thing again? ohwell
Heyo, this account mostly died for 2 reasons:
1. I had a terrible situation come up around 2-3 years ago now where someone who I met through DA and hung out at my place, turned out to be a terrible person, stalked me, impersonated me, threw out racist/fatphobic comments at me basically made me being on DA a living hell. So I killed the account, and made a secret operation on tumblr to continue my appreciation of the dead without stress. You can read moire about that here blackbackedjackal.tumblr.com/p… but the person has since moved on and whoo, I can be back on this account without anxiety 8D
2. tumblr Vulture Culture completely overtook my life. I love it, I love the community, I love blogging about my VC adventures, so I made that my main operation and just didn't feel like integrating back on here until I was sure my drama was over.
So now I'm back finally, to my original account, and will be posting dead things as per my norm. I have years worth of posts backed up, and will try to organize them here as an archive c:

Hello all! I still login to this account from time to time and figured it was time to update my page. Friendly reminder I am not actively using DA anymore. It's just not in my daily social media rotation and hasn't been since college. The best places to find me are: blackbackedjackal.tumblr.com instagram.com/jackal.and.hide Both are active daily! I'm still posting, still collecting, still selling, still processing! I just didn't like the last few waves of changes to DA and moved. This was my original taxidermy account, before the Vulture Culture, so I keep this page up as an archive of my old work and pictures. Might start uploading a few things from the past couple years, but daily activity is exclusively on tumblr and insta!

It's been so long since I've actually used this account. I'm predominantly on tumblr and instagram now a days to post about taxidermy and Vulture Culture work and tbh I just forget to upload things here.
I'm going to take the time to clean up the account a bit. It was still my original taxidermy account and I wanna keep it nice looking for archival and sentimental reasons. I still probably won't post much but the account does deserve a facelift if nothing else <3

So a lot of stuff has happened since I've been gone! Look at all you guys collections like wow I can't even deal with all the pretty babies ;w;!
Anyway, I've basically been inactive due to my art classes/life/Pokemon Y. I changed my major this semester and I couldn't be happier :heart:! It's just a TON of work but my art skills have improved tremendously! I'm learning a lot of the basics that I was never taught before and my Drawing I teacher LOVES Disney and Pixar so he's focusing me towards getting a career there c:!
Even though I haven't been on, I've still been collecting and such xD! Gotten really interested in buying skulls and natura

I haven't been keeping up with my collection and like half of them aren't cataloged on here @_@
So I'm going to upload the semi-nice photos of them and then redo the photos to match the catalogue images when I have the time.
Edit: So with the current photos I uploaded today I'm at 28/37 for pelts
